Great Me
I am Mosab Ahmad, an Egyptian software engineer, supposedly a geek, and an open source believer. I have been working since the year 2002 in PHP development, and have worked on many projects since then.
I have many interests related to my career, on the technical side i like trying new technologies and exploring new techniques and tools.
On the software engineering side, I am interested in the methodologies involved in producing high quality software with minumum boring nonsense routines, specifically agile software development, I have some sort of crush on the SCRUM practice.
On the personal side of interests I believe everything is connected, so is the software world, so I am totally concerned in what can software do to enhance and power other fields of life, like economy, science, media, politics etc.
I am married to the girl I love on the 22nd of October 2009. She is a journalist, and we met @ work.
It drives me nuts when people know i am a programmer and start asking favors like “Can you install windows on my computer?“, “Do you have an antivirus for my machine?“, “My email is hacked, can you hack it again and restore it?” and the rest of the similliar favors.
I have a great love and passion for food, and luckily enough my wife is a great cook.
Although I am a software engineer, I never graduated from an engineering faculty, instead I had a very exciting long education story, if you are interested.
